Food Mapping

This is what I had for suhoor/sehri today.

Some cereal (Oatmeal Squares by Quaker) and milk (1%).

Some fruit salad (composed of peaches, oranges, grapes, bananas).

One boiled egg with salt and pepper.

Yes, I eat a lot. But that's what I call accommodating the 4 food groups!

Perhaps a report on tonight's Iftar is in order.

i've started compiling ramadan foods too! except even just after day 1, it's nowhere near as healthy as yours. le sigh.

You should tell us what time you got hungry by too. That's the true measure of a successful suhoor!

i ate cereal, reeses pieces thing with milk (2%, that's right, that's twice the percent!)

it was simple, like any other morning where i may remember to do breakfast.

Fathima, well. Let's just say you didn't hear about my iftar that included halal marshmallows melted on top of chocolate-chip brownies. Haha.

Anon, true. But I pretty much get hungry 20 minutes after each meal, so it wouldn't count for much :P

Adnan, that's not healthy. You need complex carbs to get you through the day.

Mars, omee made it but I didn't eat from it because it smelled so foolish. Get it? Foolish...I am so funny.

I had eggs today and can say I am in much better shape than yesterday, when I just had a glass of milk. Milk alone is not good.

Actually I read somewhere egg is good for suhoor as its digested slowly and stuff.

I wonder what's standard sunnah suhoor.

Mezba, I think you should research standard sunnah suhoors and let us know. Also, the last 15 minutes before you break your fast are THE longest minutes in the world.
