What school does to me

I was sitting with my friend yesterday at school. I was eating a banana. I finished my banana and proceeded to deposit it into the nearest recepticle. A few minutes later, I rifle through my bag and take an apple out and offer it to my friend. It went something like this: Me: Hey, do you want a banana? Her: (gives me a weird look) Me: (looks at apple, thinking: hey, this isn't a banana...) Me: What is this called? Her: Umm it's an apple. Me: oh yeah. She then begins laughing at the all too apparent ineptitude of an English major.

One time in highschool I read an article that said there's more substance abuse on campuses than anywhere else.

ap, are you trying to say asmaa is a druggie? she may be weird and rude, with streaks of emotional instability, but she's not a crackhead.

Assalamu aleikum,
The only reason you are so fragmented Asm, is that you are doing an awful lot of work for awesome reasons in a very short span of time, whilst simultaneously balancing the drudgery of a reintroduction to academia. So barkallahu feeki, you dear rogue : )

Although the story was still amusing :P

But, aha, I out-trump you in this aspect: I believe I've done a Where's-My-Pencil?! with a pencil in hand...

I just noticed you threw the banana peel in the 'recepticle' instead of simply the 'garbage'.

The tuition fees haven't gone entirely to waste.

Mars, yeah, who couldn't use a teacher like me?

AP, back to you with crazy glue.

sh, with friends like you, who needs enemies? ;)

Olde, you're always so optimistic :D The where's-my-pencil thing isn't as bad as "where are my glasses?! Oh they're on my head" ;)

AP, I could have spent 30 seconds getting that word off of thesaurus.com.

Oh I'm familiar with the those who abuse thesaurus.com. Their vocab comes together with about as much confluence as does the fake bling on the aspiring rappers I see riding the Eglinton W bus with me.
