No Bounce

I bought a bunch of bouncy balls (how's that for alliteration?) a few days ago to make me happy because I wasn't that happy. But they don't bounce very well at all. Now I'm even more unhappy.

Here's something to make you happy, regarding bouncy balls.

Two years ago, we drove way up to Mt. Shasta, CA to visit someone who had had a bad bike accident and was in ICU. He could barely even figure out we were there, he was so out of it, but I think he did know we were and was happy for it. He was in this room with just four patients and a full-time nurse just to make sure they were okay, he was in such bad shape.

After, we went to a pizza place to get some dinner. My kids started buying bouncy balls from one of those vending machine thingies. They bought more and more and more. They had so many, that I started thinking of creative uses for them. It gave me the giggles to think about taking them back to our friend in ICU. It wouldn't take much but a bit of wrist action to launch one. He could throw them one at a time, and the nurse would be looking all around to try to figure out where that came from! It would bounce all over the place and probably entertain all the patients. But, alas, we were good and didn't do that.

I bought a Sony PSP a almost 6 months ago... It wasn't until 2 days I ago that I actually found some worth in the money I spent on it...

My brother plays with his bouncy ball in the house only when I watch tv and it's annoying because it's loud and then I can't hear the tv :S

I don't like bouncy balls for that reason.

Assalaamu Alaikum :)

Send those bouncy balls my way then. The ones that tend to bounce like crazy, always find a way to hit me :( Yours doesn't seem scary, I'll get you better ones hehe

And I'm sure there are other things to make you happy! brainstorm!!

Elizabeth, thanks for that little story. It made me smile :) Actually I feel bad now because I'm constantly complaining here, but I have my health. Alhamdulillah. (praise and thanks be to God)

American Muslim, like, what has that got to do with my post in the least? My interest in video games stopped at Nintendo. See my blog header.

dil, I'm sorry, I couldn't find my bouncy ball today. I thought I had one on me, but apparently not :P

Aaliya, my mom says the same thing. She likes confiscating my bouncy balls because they annoy her. So I stopped playing with them at home :)

Squeekster, psht, just because they don't bounce, doesn't mean I'm giving them away. The thought! *shakes head* awwwwwwwwww.

Haha ;)
