But I Digress

I wondered if I'd feel different after turning 20. Maybe more confident, or perhaps better equipped to face the world. But I don't. Not really. I find myself repeating "I'm 20, I'm 20, I'm 20" every time I realize I'm doing something stupid (which is often). It's irritating. [Aside: Someone (ahem ahem) gave me a Spongebob bouncy ball for my birthday and said it was because it combined two important elements in my life. Go figure.]

Assalam-oAlaikum!
Happy b'day...
I wonder what it is like turning 20!Here, I'm only 16 and constantly keep hoping that I grow no older. Being small is so much more easier. If you ask me, I want to be 10 years old again:P

Is this your way of getting people to say Happy Birthday to you?
Because, if it is your way of getting people to say Happy Birthday to you,
then I certainly will have no part in this and will not wish a Happy Birthday to Asmaa.
I hope no one else falls for this and says Happy Birthday to you.

Oops... I fell for it.

Happy Birthday Asmaa!

I'm in my 20th year too... being born on 4th November, 1986.

No, I just mentioned it... I don't have any hidden motives! :P

Assalaamu Alaikum :D

Happy Birthday once again!
and I think everyone has their own age where they actually feel the age. When I turned "22" ... I really felt like a 22 yr old, it was nice alhamdulillah. I hated turning 20 tho

take care!

cookie, thanks for the birthday wishes :) I don't love 20, but I still don't wish I was 16 again.

Umar, Haha thanks - you should've made it the "she looks like a monkey, she acts like one too" version.

Ameera, I'll keep that randomly placed reference in mind ;)

Olde, yes, technically :D The only reason I'm looking forward to school is so that you can visit me at the office!

Squeeky, Thanks nerd. I don't look forward to 22, unless I get the nobel peace prize before then.

Drooler, my brain is fried! But it's such a funny show. Did you comment here while we were watching it?!

Yeah, I commented sometime during the second disc.

Thanks Haj, I can always count on you to cheer me up. Much love.

Being 20 is sad. I'll get over it.
