Politically Incorrect

I have a test in four hours that I haven't actually begun studying for. But I had to post this. Not sure why I have an obscene fascination with misspelled signs and stuff. Courtesy of Japanese transit: These guys rock. Their grammer isn't great, but at least they give up their seats for crippies.

I suppose misspelling the word "grammar" was for the sake of irony. You're the best!

Assalaamu Alaikum :)

Oh my goodness "crippies" awww
I love it when people give up their seat for someone who really needs it. Very sweet.

And I hope the test went well Asmaa, insha'Allah

Several weeks ago, I was on the subway. This lady got on, and she was carrying a lot of bags. The train was crowded, and I offered my seat to her. She could have simply said, "no thanks" but instead, she made this face and backed away from me, like I was going to mug her or something.

Now, I'm not as quick to be curteous as I used to be.

anon, yeah the ridiculous irony of my spelling "grammar" incorrectly is still killing me.

Aaliya, they do :D

Umar & Anon, no clue as to what "gravid" means.

Squeeky, it is very heart-warming to see people give up their seats for the elderly or a woman with a child :D As for the test, I will not comment on it further :P

Umar, yeah well, it's kind of sad that people see acts of courtesy as being suspicious. Actually, I get kind of freaked out when guys offer me their seat on the subway...not sure why. But come on, you do look scary.

Anon, haha! Now it finally makes sense to me. I just assumed it wasn't a word. That's brilliant.
